It identifies and blocks known threats in real time, giving your network an additional layer of protection against spyware, viruses, and application exploits including trojans, buffer overflows, SQL injections, and policy violations. By blocking threats at the gateway, it prevents execution of malicious payloads at the desktop, saving the cost and complexity of cleaning up an infected system. It's easy to set up and manage with an intuitive UI, and all actions are logged and available for easy reporting. Signatures are updated without interruption, so your network always has up-to-the-minute protection.

spamBlocker

spamBlocker is a fully integrated security subscription for the Firebox® X. It's the best in the industry at distinguishing legitimate communication from spam outbreaks in real time, blocking close to 100% of unwanted emails and the viruses they carry. Using industry-leading RPD® technology to monitor the Internet for distinct patterns in global email traffic, it stops spam regardless of the language, content, or format of the message – even image-based spam. Easy to deploy and continually, automatically updated, spamBlocker gives IT administrators the flexibility to decide how messages will be processed and what domains are allowed on trusted whitelists.

WebBlocker

WebBlocker is an integrated URL filtering subscription for the Firebox® X. It allows IT administrators to control HTTP and HTTPS access to sites that host objectionable material or pose security risks, including known spyware sites. This helps to increase employee productivity, prevent legal liabilities, and protect against malicious attacks from rogue web sites. It blocks up to 54 content–specific categories and can be applied to web access policies based on users, groups, and domains, making it very easy to configure and manage. WebBlocker is licensed per appliance instead of per user and requires no additional hardware purchase, making it a cost-effective solution.
